CLASS POLICY

CLASS POLICY

To maintain order and professionalism in our class services, we advise all new and current clients & students to read our class policy to better understand the protocol and procedures regarding classes and bookings given any possible unforeseen circumstances and/or situations.

Disclaimer & Agreement

The policies listed are subject to change without prior notice to all students, clients, guardians & parents. It is the responsibility of students & parents to read all the terms & conditions when processing payments for classes.

Upon payment, you hereby agree to all the following policies listed below.

Payment Policy

All classes must be booked and fully paid for in advance, 1 week before the end of the month prior to the month the classes are scheduled for.

For example, if you are scheduled for classes in September, your payment must be fully processed before the end of August.

Reserved time slots are not guaranteed as confirmed bookings unless payment has been settled.

No installment payments are accepted.

Expiration Policy

All class credits (except public class credits) will expire 30 days from the date of the scheduled class. Once the 30-day period has passed, these class credits will no longer be valid for use.

Public class credits will expire after a period of 1 year from the scheduled date of the public class. Once the 1-year period has passed, the public class credits will no longer be valid for use.

Expiration Policy

Refund Policy

All class payments are non refundable and non transferable to any friend(s), sibling(s) or others.

If you're unsure about completing a package before your class credits expire, you can opt to book & pay for a single class first.

NEW STUDENTS & PACKAGES

There are no free classes or trials available.

If you would like to try a class with Alisha B, you can purchase a single class.

If you want to continue by extending your class credit to a package to enjoy a discounted price per class, you can then simply pay the balance of the package amount due and schedule your remaining classes.

Punctuality & No Show Policy

All classes (online or F2F) will start and end on time.

Please ensure to be punctual to your booked time slot to enjoy your entire paid session and maximize your time.

In the unlikely event that the instructor is late, the class will continue for its full duration, unless there are other scheduled classes afterwards. In which case, both the instructor & student can discuss how to make up for the lost time.

All Private Classes (Online & Face to Face)

The instructor will attempt to contact you from start time if you haven't logged on to your online class or you haven't arrived at the class location (home or studio).

If you are unreachable or haven't answered within 15 minutes, the class will be counted as a "no show.”

Furthermore, the instructor will leave the class location/venue and the class credit will be deducted indefinitely.

Semi-Private Classes

If 1 of 2 students in a semi-private class does not show up, the class will automatically become a private class for the attending student.

Public Classes

If you have booked & prepaid for a slot to attend a public dance class, please kindly ensure you are on time as late arrivals will disrupt other participants. If you do not attend, it will be regarded as a "no show” with no rescheduling available.

If you are unable to attend the class for any reason, please refer to our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.

Course Class Participants
(applicable to private DANCE/DRAMA group classes)

If any student within a private group class (dance or drama) does not show up, it will be regarded as a "no show” and no class credit will be available for redemption.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Something came up? Need to change your class timeslot? No problem!

Find out how to cancel your class and retain your class credit below. Please check the applicable clause for your mode of class (private, semi-private, public or course classes).

In the unlikely event that the instructor urgently needs to cancel or reschedule the class, both the instructor & student can discuss how to carry forward with the class credit & reschedule accordingly.

Private Class Cancellations

If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, you must inform us 24 hours before the start time of your scheduled class.

For example: Your class is on Wednesday 4:30pm - you must let us know by Tuesday 4:30pm or you will not be eligible for a class reschedule.

Semi-Private Class Cancellations

If 1 of 2 students in a semi-private class cannot attend,

a) the class will automatically become a private class for the attending student UNLESS

b) both students must agree & inform us 24 hours before the start time of the scheduled class.

Public Class Cancellations

If you booked and paid to attend a public class but need to cancel, please ensure you inform us 4 hours before the start time of the class. Only then will a class credit be offered for redemption. (please refer to our Expiration Policy)

Course Class Cancellations
(applicable to private DANCE/DRAMA group classes)

Considering the nature of course classes, it is important to note that a fixed schedule is confirmed prior to the start of the course. If you are unable to attend any classes within the course schedule, we regret to inform you that no make-up class credits will be offered. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.

However, if classes are canceled due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, a make-up date/class time will be offered as a replacement. This is decided solely by the instructor and those who are unable to attend the make-up class will have lost the credit.

Cancel & Reschedule

No audio/voice/video/pictures, screenshots or screen recordings are permitted at any time (especially during teaching time) by both STUDENTS or PARENTS without the permission of the instructor.

If you wish to film the content learned in class, please do so at the end of the class with the consent of the instructor.

*The Instructor reserves the right to take photos & film videos to be used for marketing & social media purposes.

If you wish to not participate in these public marketing materials, please indicate your privacy preference by filling in our Student Media Consent Form. Those who have not filled out the form will be assumed to have given consent.

Health & Safety Policy

We prioritize the safety and well-being of all our students. Our services are only conducted by fully vaccinated (Covid 19) instructors.

We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise. If you're feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms like a cold, cough, sore throat, runny nose, fever, headache, body ache, or nausea, please let your instructor know in advance and reschedule your class. This helps protect you, your instructor and fellow students. In order to ensure you retain your class credit, we kindly ask that you notify your instructor at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled start time of your class.

Additionally, we require all students/parents/clients to inform their instructor prior to class if they are undergoing any serious medical or physical illnesses, such as asthma, pain, discomfort, injury, rehabilitation, or recovery affecting their voice or body. This allows our instructors to make necessary adjustments and provide support for a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Wearing a mask is optional for all students, although it may interfere with the full experience of the class.

Liability & Negligence Policy

By processing your payment and enrolling in classes, you hereby acknowledge that you do not hold the instructor accountable or liable for any personal injury that may occur during vocal, dance or drama class time.

You also understand, acknowledge and agree to comply with & respect all policies listed and any implications that may follow.

Bad Weather Policy

In the event that a rainstorm or Typhoon warning has been issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, the following procedures will take place in how classes will move forward given the situation.

Classes will either run as usual, depend on venue policy or be canceled.

In the event that Typhoon Signal No.8 / the Black rainstorm warning are hoisted, face to face classes will automatically be canceled & rescheduled.

However, if students decide to cancel their class when it is still scheduled to run as usual, the Cancellation Policy will be applied and their class credit will be deducted. No makeup class credit is then available for redemption.

Connectivity (applicable to Online Classes Only)

Sometimes, there can be connectivity issues affecting online classes caused by construction, weather, or communication glitches. To determine how disruptive these external factors can be to the productivity of the class, both the instructor and student must try to connect to the class at least once.

If persistent issues with Wi-Fi, Zoom or noise continue within 15 minutes of the class's start time, both the student and instructor can decide to cancel the class and reschedule.
