Self

Benefits

Drama is a limitless realm of wonder, creativity and self-expression. It is a unique performing art form that enriches and encourages actors to develop and boost confidence, courage & craft in front of their peers & potentially an audience too.

Working with other children creates an interactive environment that fosters cooperation, teamwork, presentation skills, problem solving, brainstorming & effective communication.

Empathy & Ethical Benefits

As children develop more effective communication skills both verbally and non-verbally, actors can grasp a deeper awareness of others' opinions, ideas, feelings & perspectives. Collaboratively, children are then more understanding of empathy, respect, body language and friendships.

Creative & Fun Benefits

Actors are constantly encouraged to play different characters and use different stimuli alongside their imagination to devise short scenes and character profiles.

There is no right or wrong in the world of Drama! We inspire & uplift our young actors to use their imaginations and storytell with their friends.

We then apply their creations to improvised scenarios & scenes sparking bursts of fun and laughter in class time which then promotes a sense of adaptability.

Focus & Performance Benefits

MIND

Actors not only nurture their imagination & ideas, the use of scripts and character engagement prompts them to maximize their focus, concentration and memorization.

VOICE

The variety of voices and diverse characters that are explored during class allows young actors to achieve crisper articulation, pronunciation, vocal projection and volume control.

body

Drama can be very physically demanding and it is essential for young actors to be aware of their energy levels and master control of the body & its shape, size, movement, proximity & more.
